Materials: 1 skein Brown Sheep Company's Burlyspun (132 yards super bulky wool) Needles: pair #15 US knitting needles; cable needle Gauge: Not critical. Instructions: Cast on 12 stitches. Knit 4 rows in garter stitch (Knit every row) Begin 6-row Cable Pattern: Rows 1 and 3. Knit Rows 2, 4 and 6. Knit 3, purl 6, knit 3 Row 5. Knit 3, Slip 3 stitches to cable needle and hold to the back of work, Knit 3, Knit 3 stitches from cable needle, Knit 3. Repeat cable pattern until scarf is desired length or about 62" from cast on edge. Knit 4 rows of garter stitch (knit every row) Bind off. Block if desired. Note: Your mileage may vary!
