When: May 4-6, 2007

Where:  The retreat was again held at Camp Tecumseh.

Who:  We brought in an outside instructor this year. JoLene Treace is a frequent designer for Louet Sales, and several of her patterns were featured in the book Handknit Holidays.  She also has a lace fingerless mitts design in the upcoming winter issue of Interweave Knits.  You can check out her blog here: http://jolenetreace.wordpress.com/ or see her designs here: http://www.atimetoknit.com/home.html .  We were really excited to have her as our featured instructor on Saturday.

We had shorter classes taught by Amanda Gill (making your own beaded stitch markers), Sheryl Krohne (exercises for knitters), and Brian Doggett (Kumihimo braiding).  We had lots of fun activities, games, and entertainment as well. Knitters brought their current projects to share during knitting time.

We are thrilled you joined us and hope you'll all join us again for the next wonderful, fun-filled knitting retreat in a year or two!
